Colgate-Palmolive Vice Chair to Retire

Consumer products maker Colgate-Palmolive Co. said its vice chairman Javier G. Teruel will retire on April 1. He was with the company for 35 years and will return to his native Mexico. Other Colgate senior executives will assume his duties. Teruel will receive a pension benefit accumulated over his tenure worth about $14.5 million, and will also receive $2.64 million to remain available as a consultant for the company during the three years following his retirement.
